Land
Development and Planning Award Nominations Sought
Oct. 16 Deadline
The
Somerset County Planning Board is seeking nominations for its 27th Annual Land
Development and Planning Awards program.
The Deadline for nominations is Friday, October 16.
Since
its inception, a wide range of development projects have been recognized
through the planning award program.
While each project represents a different kind of land development, they
are all indicative of high levels of design and creativity being encouraged in
Nominations
are being sought in the categories of residential, adaptive use, commercial,
industrial, public/institutional, smart growth, green building design and
excellence in planning. Entries will be
judged by the Somerset County Planning Board.
Awards are
presented for imaginative planning, innovative site design, adaptive use
projects, and projects that demonstrate cooperation with the community and
promote sound planning practices.
