Final 2009 Household Hazardous Waste
Drop-off

HILLSBOROUGH - If you are going to be cleaning
out your garage, basement or other storage areas this fall, you can dispose of
hazardous items at the last Somerset County Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off
Day in 2009 on Saturday, Oct. 24.
Hazardous items can be dropped off at the South County Public Works Facility, located at

farmers to dispose of household chemicals and pesticides that cannot be thrown
out with regular trash.
The program is
free to county residents. No registration is necessary, but proof of
residency is required.
Tires and used consumer electronics - computers and televisions –
are not accepted as part of the Household Hazardous Waste Program. They are collected as part of the First
Saturday of the Month Drop-off Program from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the
