Antique Appraisathon at
Warrenbrook Senior Center
WARREN – Do
you have antiques that you’d like to have appraised? A registered antiques appraiser who has appeared on several
televised “Road Show” events will be at the Warrenbrook Senior Center,
located at 500 Warrenville Road, for an “Antiques Appraisathon” from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 6.
Because there is a limit to the number of items that can be appraised
in two hours, individuals are encouraged to register in advance by calling
(908) 753-9440. A donation is suggested in the amount of $3 for one item, or $5
for two items.
Doug Reeder,
an established antiques dealer, will appraise objects presented by the public
at Warrenbrook on Monday. Reeder is a
member of the American Organization of Licensed Dealers and Appraisers and the American Philatelic Society. A past president of the Associated Antiques Dealers of New Jersey, he
sells antiques at Elysium Antiques in Somerville and other selected venues in
Summit and New York City.
