COMMITTEE ON AGING MEETING NOTICE:

 

Date of notice:  October 21, 2009

 

The Clark County Committee on Aging meeting and the Aging and Nutrition Advisory Committees will be on October 21st at the Thorp Senior Center, 116 N. Washington St. The meeting will be at 9:30 am.

 

The Public Hearing on the 2010 budget will be held at 11:00 am.

 

9:30-11:00 am:

Agenda:  Aging & Nutrition Advisory Committees

          The Advisory Committees will meet to discuss the unmet transportation needs of the elderly and handicapped in Clark County. A transportation survey will be distributed and members will be asked to assist in the distribution of these surveys in their communities. Discussion will be held on transportation issues.

 

          Bonnie will discuss the various Medicare Assistance Programs and the low income subsidy program. 

 

          Just prior to the Public hearing on the 2010 budget Mary will discuss the NACo Prescription Drug Program.
