Wireless Alerts

Certain messages may be sent in a format suitable for wireless and other short-message devices.  Generally, these devices accept fewer characters (as few as 140 characters per message), so Wireless Alerts are formatted to deliver the main message up front. Messages that exceed this character limit may be truncated by your wireless provider.

Subscription items that support Wireless Alerts are designated with a 'Wireless Alerts' icon on the Quick Subscribe page.

Most wireless carriers allow for text e-mail messages, some at an additional cost.  For more information on your particular device, please refer to the table below:
